Extraordinary Women.
Extreme Discoveries.
WINGS funds women researchers and scientists worldwide in bold exploration and groundbreaking discoveries.
Women were born to explore.
Yet less than 2% of all U.S. charitable giving goes to
organizations that serve women.
organizations that serve women.
Women represent only 33.3% of all researchers and 12% of national science academies worldwide. And they’re routinely given smaller research grants than their male colleagues.
With your donations, WINGS is changing that.
WINGS is the only organization that awards unrestricted grants to women making pioneering discoveries in science, exploration, and conservation.
Since 2003, WINGS has awarded grants to 200+ women across 100+ countries and published the findings of more than 50 women-led field expeditions.
Your donation helps extraordinary women make extreme discoveries.
